Ford held a book party for Crystal at the swanky Soho Grand hotel, sponsored by Patron. I had three (3) tequila mojitos and one (1) fun time.

I spent most of the night chatting with Wendy Shanker, hilarious author of The Fat Girl’s Guide to Life, who kindly blurbed Hungry; Lynn Harris, hilarious author of Death by Chick Lit and co-creator of the Breakup Girl blog; Cynthia Cohen, proprietress of Right Arm Productions and queen of photo shoot producing; and Deb Malkin, owner of Re/Dress boutique, where I bought the Abby Z frock I am sporting in these pix. Crystal looked radiant in Isabel Toledo (I spotted Sra. Toledo the crowd — Crystal’s on the cover of her new book, Fashion from the Inside Out). Then Jonathan and I went home and watched Mad Men on TiVo and ate takeout Chinese, which added up to a perfect evening.
