The new parenting web site Kveller reprinted an old story of mine about miscarriage. Rereading it…wow, that was not a good time.

My heart goes out to all women who are struggling with infertility or who have experienced miscarriage. At the time, I felt like a selfish weenus for grieving — my struggles were nothing compared to those of women who’d lost children. I didn’t feel entitled to my feelings. But you know, there’s plenty of sorrow to go around.
