Discovered on my iPhone: A video made by Josie and Jane for Banned Books Week, September 24-October 1. One of Josie’s favorite books is The Higher Power of Lucky by Susan Patron, which won the 2007 Newbery Medal but is frequently challenged in school and public libraries because of its use of a single word.
