Marjorie is the co-author of Hungry (Simon & Schuster, 2009) written with the model Crystal Renn; the co-author of Smart Sex (MTV Books, 1998), written with Jessica Vitkus; and the author of The Field Guide to North American Males (Henry Holt, 1997), a guide to various boy phyla and their habitats.

HI!
First, I just want to say that I’m a french Canadian, so my english isn’t perfect!
I would like to tell you how great is Hungry. You did a very good job with Crystal Renn. I discovered Crystal few years ago when I read an article about her in ELLE Québec. Since that time, I keep myself informed about all she does. I have an eating disorder since I’m 12 (I’m now 17). I’m alost done with that now and Crystal’s story helped me so much to feel more confident and to realize that there’s many ways to live your live… I wrote this letter to thank you for this fabulous book and also to ask you if there’s a way to contact Crystal. She inspired me (I’m an art student and I did a lot of project related with beaty, body… ) I want to be an illustrator (books, add, fashion…) and maybe, doing a project that can help people, women, to appreciate their body.
