Today is the 90th anniversary of the 19th amendment. On August 18, 1920, the law giving women the right to vote was ratified. (In a down-to-the-wire nailbiter, the Tennessee House was deadlocked until the third round of voting, when the youngest state legislator changed his vote to yes after receiving a letter from his mother urging him to do the right thing.) Please enjoy this vintage Schoolhouse Rock tribute, posted with love by this cackling rad.
